This Privacy Policy explains how Miti ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Miti mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

Miti is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will take steps to delete the account and associated data.

We do not use your personal information to sell your identity to third-party advertisers, and we do not run third-party behavioral advertising networks inside Miti based on your plan or journey content.

4. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you to provide the Service; our legitimate interests in securing and improving Miti, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and your consent where required, such as when you voluntarily upload a profile photo or accept optional communications.

5. How Information Is Stored

Some data is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage mechanisms so the app can work offline or load quickly. Other data may be stored on servers or infrastructure we use to operate account features and backups. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Service at your own risk to the extent permitted by law.

6. In-App Purchases and Payment Records

Miti offers optional in-app purchases, including VIP subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and virtual Coin packs. All billing is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, receive, or store your payment card number, billing address, or any sensitive financial information.

When a purchase is completed, Apple sends the app a transaction receipt confirming which product was purchased and the purchase status. We use this confirmation solely to credit your account with the corresponding entitlement (VIP status or Coin balance) and to maintain a record of that entitlement on your device. We do not retain raw receipt data beyond what is needed to verify and deliver the product.

Purchase-related data we process includes:

Apple processes payment data under its own Privacy Policy. For questions about billing, refund eligibility, or subscription management, please contact Apple Support or manage your subscriptions in iOS Settings.

Where required, we take steps designed to provide appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. When you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is necessary for backups, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance for a limited time.

10. Your Choices and Rights
